Deposit Insurance Agency Instruction for Provisioning of Information on Deposit Insurance System to Current and Potential Clients by Commercial Banks entered into force Since February 1, 2018. The Instruction requires all the banks operating in Georgia to deliver messages about deposit Insurance System to their customers by electronic means – via e-mails and Internet-banking system.

According to the Instruction Deposit Insurance Agency already provided commercial banks by the models of brochures including information about deposit insurance system in Georgia, as well as payout method and procedure in case of insurance event. Agency also provided banks by models of Posters and Stickers. According to The Instruction Banks are obliged to provide constant access to brochures as well as placement of posters and stickers  in all of their branches and representations.

Informing citizens about deposit Insurance System is one of the main priority of the Agency. For better informing of citizens Agency intends to plan  the variety of information campaign throughout the year including TV- videos and other social activities.
