Regular Insurance Premium for Commercial Bank as of March 2024 amounted 5,273,846.40 GEL

According to the Law of Georgia on “Deposit Insurance System” and “Instruction for Calculation of Base for Regular Insurance Premiums Payable by the Commercial Banks and Procedures for Payment of Regular Insurance Premiums” total amount of regular premiums for all commercial banks operating in Georgia equaled to 5,273,846.40 GEL as of March 2024.

The premium by the banks was paid in April 2024.

According to Investment Policy of Deposit Insurance Agency and Investment Plan 2024 the Agency participated in Treasury Securities Auction of Ministry of Finance of Georgia on April 2, 2024. The Agency invested 5,319,281.91 GEL in 5 years maturity Benchmark Bonds with 7.900% interest rate.
