The IADI Eurasia and Europe Regional Committee Meetings and International Conference entitled “Deposit Insurance and Bank Resolution: State of the Art and Future Challenges” organized by Deposit Insurance Agency of Georgia, took place in Tbilisi, Georgia on July 4-6, 2024.

More than 80 delegates from 30 countries participated in the International Conference, both from Deposit Insurance Systems, the World Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The main goal of the conference was to share the existing experience in Banking Resolution among the IADI members and international partners.

The International Deposit Insurance Association assembles DIS representatives from 110 countries around the world. Deposit Insurance Agency of Georgia became a member of IADI from 2022. Within the framework of the Organization, the agency actively participates in the Europe and Eurasia regional committee activities and in various international conferences and workshops.

Tbilisi hosted the international conference of Deposit Insurers for the first time. It is symbolic that the joint meetings of the Europe and Eurasian Regional Committees were held in Georgia for the first time in the existence of the Organization.
