Total amount of Deposits for all 14 commercial banks operating in Georgia as of November 30, 2021 equals to 36,715,126,546 GEL.

The Agency applied for IADI (International Association of Deposit Insurers) membership in the fall of the current year in agreement with the Supervisory Board. After the relevant procedures, the application was approved and the Agency officially became a member of IADI.

According to Investment Policy of Deposit Insurance Agency and Investment Plan 2021 the Agency participated in Treasury Securities Auction of Ministry of Finance of Georgia on December 7, 2021. The Agency invested 3,680,376.62 GEL in 2 years maturity Benchmark Bonds with 9.000% interest rate.
