LEPL Deposit Insurance Agency hosted a delegation from the Deposit and Savings Insurance Fund of Tajikistan and the Project Implementation Group of the Ministry of Finance.

Within the framework of the study visit, representatives of the Deposit Insurance Agency shared their experience with Tajik colleagues on various aspects of payout process management. Particular emphasis was placed on the business processes, implementation, and functional management details of developing a software program designed for payout management.

During the working meetings, practical experiences accumulated by the Agency were discussed. The study visit also featured a dedicated session on bank resolution, where experience in this area was presented by the Head of the Resolution and Liquidation Division of the Financial Stability Department of the National Bank of Georgia.

As part of the meeting, the parties signed a bilateral Memorandum of Understanding. Sharing such experience is particularly important as it fosters stronger cooperation and knowledge-sharing between deposit insurance systems.
