From April 1, 2026, the maximum reimbursable amount of insured deposits increased from 30 000 GEL to 50 000 GEL.

According to Investment Policy of Deposit Insurance Agency and Investment Plan 2026 the Agency participated in Treasury Securities Auction of Ministry of Finance of Georgia on March 24, 2026. The Agency invested 5,042,077.99 GEL in 7.5 years maturity Benchmark Bonds with 8.500 % interest rate.
